It’s been about two weeks since I started using an Indian skincare cream called “Demelan Cream” to deal with my stubborn strawberry nose (blackheads).
In this series, I’ve been exploring—honestly and step by step—whether this cream can really improve clogged pores over time.
So far, I’ve covered the ingredients, my first impressions after opening it, and how my skin looked after one week.
This time, I want to take it a step further and share what has changed after two weeks, along with updated photos of my nose.
If you prefer reading in Japanese, you can check the full Japanese version here(日本語版はこちら).
This time, I’ll be focusing especially on:
・ Changes that didn’t appear during the first week
・ What happened to the small white pimples around my nose
・ My honest thoughts after using it for two weeks
Let’s take a closer look at how things have evolved.
If you missed the previous part, you can read it here.
This article includes close-up photos of pores and skin texture, so please keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to such images.
Using Demelan Cream for Two Weeks
How I’ve Been Using It
I started using Demelan Cream on March 8, and now it’s been about two weeks.
I’ve continued applying it every other day, for a total of about 6–7 uses so far.
The amount I use hasn’t changed since my one-week review:
・ For my nose: about the size of a grain of rice
・ For my whole face: about another grain-sized amount
The cream itself has a slightly thick texture, and to be honest, it’s still a bit difficult to spread on its own.
So when I apply it to my whole face, I gently mix it with my usual moisturizer to make it smoother and easier to apply.
I’ve also continued using the small trick I mentioned before—poking a tiny hole in the inner seal of the tube.

This makes it much easier to control how much cream comes out, and it helps prevent using too much at once.
I’ve actually come to really like this method. It gives me just the right amount each time, and if I ever feel like I need more, I can simply make the hole slightly bigger.
Up until now, I’ve been using it every other day to avoid irritation.
But since I haven’t experienced any major skin troubles so far, I’ve started thinking it might be time to gradually shift toward daily use—while still keeping a close eye on how my skin reacts.
If you’d like to see the full journey and results, I’ve summarized everything here.
My Nose After Two Weeks (With Photos)
Two weeks have passed since I started using Demelan Cream.

After two weeks of use
To be honest, I still don’t see any dramatic improvement in blackheads.
If anything, the change is very subtle.

Left: early stage / Right: after two weeks
However, compared to before I started using it, the redness around my nose has calmed down, and overall my skin looks slightly brighter.
In terms of texture, it doesn’t feel like everything has become smoother yet, but rather that things trapped inside my pores are slowly starting to come to the surface.
Sometimes, when I gently touch my nose, small white plugs come out easily, which makes it feel like the clogged impurities are gradually loosening.
Of course, not everything has cleared out, and some blackheads are still there.
Visually, there is no dramatic change, but compared to the first week, my skin feels slightly more settled and balanced.
What Happened to the White Pimples
One of the biggest concerns I had after the first week was the sudden appearance of small white pimples around my nose.
So naturally, I was curious—and a little nervous—about what would happen next.
After two weeks, they’re still there.
In fact, I’ve started to notice a pattern.
They tend to show up more noticeably the day after I apply the cream at night.
This time as well, I saw an increase in small white bumps the following day.

At first, I wondered if it might just be a temporary reaction.
But now that two weeks have passed and they’re still appearing, it’s hard to say things have “settled down.”
To summarize the current situation:
・ They are still appearing
・ The number hasn’t decreased significantly
・ There seems to be a connection with when I apply the cream
As for the possible causes, a few things come to mind:
・ Irritation from AHA (glycolic acid)
・ Impurities being pushed out from deep inside the pores
・ Stress from using multiple exfoliating products at once
I can’t say for certain which one it is, but it’s clearly something I need to pay attention to.
Going forward, I plan to adjust both the frequency and the amount I use, while carefully observing how my skin responds.
Effects I Noticed After Two Weeks
After using Demelan Cream for two weeks, I’ve noticed a few gradual changes.
The most noticeable one is the overall tone of my skin.
I already sensed a slight improvement after one week, but now, the redness around my nose seems to have calmed down even more, and my skin looks a bit brighter overall.
There’s also a subtle sense of increased clarity.
As for texture, it’s not dramatically smoother—but again, it feels like the clogged material inside my pores is slowly rising to the surface.
When I gently touch my skin, small white plugs sometimes come off easily, which reinforces that feeling.
That said, the blackheads themselves haven’t changed significantly yet.
Rather than a dramatic improvement, it feels more like a slow shift is beginning.
If I were to sum up my two-week results:
・ Slight improvement in tone and redness
・ A small change in skin texture
・ No major change in blackheads yet
So while the changes are subtle, I do feel like my skin is gradually becoming more balanced.
What Concerned Me
Alongside the positive changes, there were also a few things that made me pause.
The biggest one is still the white pimples around my nose.
They appeared during the first week, and even after two weeks, they haven’t completely gone away.
In fact, they seem to increase the day after I apply the cream.
Because of this, I don’t think it’s simply a matter of the product not suiting my skin.
It feels more like my skin is reacting—either to the strength of the ingredients or to the exfoliation process itself.
Still, from a visual perspective, they are quite noticeable, so this is definitely something to keep in mind.
Another thing worth noting is that Demelan Cream contains 10% AHA (glycolic acid), which is relatively strong.
Depending on how you use it—especially the amount and frequency—it could potentially put stress on your skin.
At this stage, it’s not severe enough to make me stop using it entirely.
But it has reminded me that I need to adjust how I use it based on how my skin responds.
Conclusion: Does It Work After Two Weeks?
So—after two weeks of using Demelan Cream, does it actually improve strawberry nose?
At this point, I would say:
I haven’t seen a dramatic improvement in blackheads yet.
Visually, the blackheads are still there, and there hasn’t been a major change.
However, I do feel that the redness around my nose has calmed down, and my overall skin tone looks slightly brighter.
On the other hand, I’ve also experienced white pimples, which suggests that this product may not work the same way for everyone.
Rather than something I can recommend unconditionally, it feels like a product that needs to be used carefully, while paying attention to how your own skin reacts.
To summarize my current impression:
・ No major change in blackheads yet
・ Some improvement in tone and redness
・ Visible skin reactions like white pimples
So at this stage, it doesn’t feel like a quick-fix solution—but it might be worth continuing if you’re interested in longer-term changes.
I plan to keep using it and track how things evolve over the next month.
How I Plan to Use It Going Forward
Based on these two weeks, I’ve been rethinking how I want to use this cream going forward.
So far, I’ve been using it every other day to minimize irritation.
Since I haven’t experienced any severe reactions, I’m thinking about gradually increasing the frequency.
For now, I’ll try using it for a few consecutive days and see how my skin responds.
If everything feels fine, I may transition to daily use.
That said, I’m still dealing with white pimples around my nose, so I don’t want to push things too far.
If I notice any discomfort, I’ll go back to using it every other day.
I’ll also be more careful about combining it with other exfoliating products, and try to keep my skincare routine as simple as possible.
Next, I’ll be sharing my one-month results, along with updated photos.
