I finally decided to try Demelan Cream, which I had been curious about as a solution for my strawberry nose—those stubborn visible pores and blackheads.
In this series, I’ll be testing it myself to see whether it actually makes a difference to the pores on my nose.
So far, I’ve already looked into:
・ The ingredients of Demelan Cream and how they may affect pores
This time, the product has finally arrived—so I’ll be sharing my unboxing review.
Let’s get into it!

Unboxing Demelan Cream
The Demelan Cream I ordered has finally arrived.
It took about two weeks after ordering—definitely longer than I expected.
Since I’d been curious about it as a possible solution for my strawberry nose, I wanted to take a closer look at the packaging and contents before actually using it.
In this review, I’ll be going over:
・ The outer box
・ What’s inside
・ The texture of the cream
If you’d like to see the full journey and results, I’ve summarized everything here.
The Outer Packaging
Here’s how the package looked when it arrived.
Since this product isn’t available in Japan, I ordered it through an international shopping site.
It came via international shipping, packed in a simple box.

Most of the writing on it is in English, and there’s no obvious logo on the outside—so at first glance, it doesn’t really look like what was inside.
It had been more than two weeks since I placed the order, so honestly, my first thought was, “Wait… what is this?” in a slightly confused way.
For a moment, I even thought, “Is this something I shouldn’t be opening…?” which made me hesitate to open it for a while.
The box itself was in good condition, with no noticeable damage during delivery.
Later, I checked the shipping status on the website where I had placed the order, and finally confirmed that this was indeed what I had purchased.
That’s when I finally felt relieved and opened it.
Inside the Box
I opened the package and checked the contents.

Inside, the Demelan Cream was placed directly in the box.
The packaging was simple, but everything was clean and in good condition.
Since it’s an overseas skincare product, I had been a little worried that the packaging might be rough—but thankfully, there were no issues at all.
Even though I had purchased a discounted item, there didn’t seem to be any problems with it.
If anything, it made me a bit curious about what the regular-priced version might be like.
Appearance and Size of the Tube
This is the Demelan Cream.

It comes in a tube—white with orange accents—and has a simple, clean design.
It’s not flashy, but it has that calm, typical skincare product feel.
The size also makes it easy to keep in your bathroom or carry in a pouch.
The content is 20g.
The content is 20g.
That’s relatively small for a skincare cream, but since it’s mainly used on specific areas like around the nose, it doesn’t seem like it will run out too quickly—so I’ll be keeping an eye on how long it actually lasts in the next update.
I also placed it next to a ruler for scale.

It’s about 11 cm long—quite compact.
Honestly, it feels like the perfect size to take with you when traveling.
When you remove the cap, the opening looks like this.

It was sealed with a silver foil when I first opened it.
When I peeled it off, only the top layer came away, leaving a thin film behind.
So I used a toothpick to make a small hole in the film and squeezed the cream out from there.

Texture of the Cream
I tried squeezing out a small amount to check the texture.

It’s a white cream with a fairly firm consistency.
When I pressed the tube, it didn’t come out immediately—I had to apply a bit of pressure.
Since it’s winter right now, the colder temperature may have made it feel slightly firmer.
When I spread it on the back of my hand, it looked like this.

Rather than gliding on smoothly, it feels a bit heavier as it spreads.
That said, it doesn’t feel overly sticky.
It gave me the impression of being a cream that isn’t particularly oily.
Overall, it seems like a texture that would work well for targeted areas like around the nose.
As for the scent, I personally didn’t notice anything strong.
However, I did come across a few reviews mentioning the smell, so this may vary depending on the person.
To be honest, it’s not the easiest cream to spread.
Tracking Changes in My Strawberry Nose
In this article, I shared an unboxing review of Demelan Cream, including the packaging and texture.
Before starting to use it, this is what my nose currently looks like.

(Sorry the photo is a bit blurry…)
…And yes, this is honestly a little embarrassing to show.
I’m dealing with visible pores and blackheads—what’s often called a “strawberry nose.”
From here on, I’ll be using this cream and tracking how my nose changes over time.
First, I’ll use it for a while and share the results after one week.
If you’re interested, feel free to check back.
I’ll do my best to share the process honestly.
Thank you so much for reading this article.
If I notice any changes, I’ll continue sharing them in future posts.
